About this Event

Join us for a Lunch & Learn designed to bring together researchers, innovators, founders, and professionals from the University of Ottawa, Ottawa, and the surrounding region. This session offers a chance to explore new ideas, connect with like-minded peers, and learn about two exciting program opportunities that support science-driven innovation and entrepreneurship.

We are pleased to announce the opening of an impactful program designed to support emerging changemakers: invention to Innovation (i2I) Skills Training Program.

Throughout the journey, participants will strengthen their pitching skills, refine their venture concepts, and prepare for showcase and competition opportunities.

Whether you have a developing idea, an early-stage venture, or simply the drive to make an impact in the life sciences or innovation ecosystem, these programs offer the structure and support to help you grow.

A bit about our programs:

i2I: The Invention to Innovation (i2I) program is an eight-month, part-time entrepreneurship training experience that provides STEM researchers with mentorship and a $3,000 stipend to help translate scientific ideas into real-world impact. Designed for post-secondary scientists and engineers, it builds the entrepreneurial mindset and skills needed to transition from academia to industry or to launch science-based ventures.

Come out on January 29 to learn more!
