Meet the Trainer:

Mizzy entered the world of entrepreneurship as a Grant Writer and as a Nonprofit Consultant in 2003.

During her tenure, she had annual budgets funded in the millions and coached nonprofits on sustainable methods to secure funding.

For over 20 years, Mizzy has positioned organizations for funding, secured annual budgets and coached organizations on sustainable methods to secured funding. Her expertise includes management and compliance and small business development and sustainment. She trains and educates from the perspective of working on grant committees to assisting with constructing RFPs. She knows what Grantors look for in their due diligence beyond written proposals.

She has a 87% approval rate in social, human service based grant awards and a 93% in educational grant awards. She has also written grants for research, technology and patented projects.

In these series, Mizzy seeks to provide grant writing skills to individuals and organizations that are seeking the knowledge to learn the skill set and training; those who seek to dive deeper to meet the funding and sources needed to run their programs.
