Dr. Ann Tilman, SB-RPT will lead us through the benefits of adding play to school based counseling, options for credentialing in schools, and a technique or two to try it out!
Tara Moser, LCSW, RPT-S, C-AAIS will be co-lead on this free CE event that includes time for collaborating with local professionals over lunch!
This is a live, in-person workshop. Attendees must attend the entire workshop and will be awarded One Live Contact CE.
Objective:
Participants will identify the unique role of school based play therapy.
Participants will demonstrate at least one technique they can use in schools.
Participants will identify 1-2 strategies to educate stakeholders about school based play therapy.
This workshop is limited to 15 attendees.
1 hour of CE provided: Delta Family Counseling is approved by the Florida Department of Health under Fl Statute 49I to offer continuing education for Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Mental Health Counselors. Provider Number BAP-50-30047 expires 03/31/2025. APT Approved Provider #10-286.
Play Therapy Credit may not be awarded to those who are not mental health professionals.
