Lunar New Year - Lion Dance at the IC

See in the Year of the Snake, with this traditional lion dance performance, designed to bring good luck and fortune. Enjoy live performers in lion costumes, accompanied by the music of beating drums, clashing cymbals and resounding gongs, guided by the Laughing Buddha.

Doors will open at 11:30am for a start at 12:00pm sharp.

Presented in partnership with Darebin Libraries. A Lunar New Year storytime for children age 0-12 will be held prior at Preston Library 11:15am. To register for the storytime click here.

This is a free event however registration is essential.

This event has high sound levels. Sound cancelling headphones are recommended for people with sound sensitivites.
