About this Event
You are invited to the fourth annual Lunar New Year Edmonds event on February 1st, 2024. Hosted by the Multicultural Association of Edmonds (MAE), our free community event will take place at Edmonds Center for the Arts, and has been designed to uplift the creativity, traditions, and expansiveness of the local Asian American community.
Festivities at ECA begin at 11 AM with Mak Fai Lion Dance, followed by demonstrations by This year’s free community celebration uplifts the creativity, traditions, and expansiveness of the local Asian American community. Throughout the day, enjoy a performance by Mak Fai Lion Dance, the Massive Monkees breakdancers, demonstrations by Northwest Wushu Academy, and finishing with an energizing breakdance performance from renown Seattle-based hip hop crew, Massive Monkees.
More ways to celebrate with us! From 10 AM to 3 PM, you can walk down the road to Civic Field for the Lunar New Year Market featuring gaming lessons from the Seattle Go Center, and food vendors. The day will also feature community-driven art installations, market, trolley tour, and a red envelope walk featuring local businesses, no registration required.
