Celebrate the Year of the Dragon at The Shops at Mohegan SunSunday, February 11th 2024
Following tradition, celebrations for the Year of the Dragon include the Fortune God, Red Envelopes and more! The winners from the 2023 Miss Chinese Beauty Pageant will also join the Fortune God to celebrate at The Shops Concourse.
Also on February 11th, don’t miss the traditional Lion Dance. The Lion Dance has long symbolized the exorcising of evil spirits and summoning of luck and fortune. The performance will start at 1:00pm at the Sun Patio, making its way through The Shops Concourse, and ending at The Cabaret Theatre.
Schedule of Events:
11:00am - 1:00pm: Fortune God at The Shops Concourse
1:00pm: Remarks from Mohegan Executives
1:10pm: Lion Dance and firecrackers at Sun Patio
1:25pm - 2:00pm: Lion dance to continue through The Shops Concourse, ending at Mohegan Sun Arena Sky Entrance
