About this Event
Celebrate the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Horse through playful, hands-on printmaking. Participants will design and carve soft foam printing plates inspired by zodiac horse imagery and celestial constellations, then ink and hand-print their designs using brayers and water-based inks. Create multiple prints to take home and share.
Participants will explore introductory printmaking, focusing on pattern-making, symbolism, and visual storytelling. They will gain hands-on experience with accessible tools. They will leave with original prints and a deeper understanding of the printmaking process.
No experience needed. This hands-on workshop is open to adults, and children ages 7+ with an adult—families welcome! All materials are provided.

Refund Policy
- If a workshop does not reach the minimum number of students within 3 days of the workshop, it may be cancelled at the instructor’s discretion. If you are already registered (and have paid) for a workshop that is cancelled, your whole registration amount will be refunded.
- If you request to withdraw from a workshop 72 hours or more before the day of the workshop, Del Ray Artisans will refund the Workshop Fee and any Supply Fee minus a 15% processing fee.
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations less than 72 hours before the day of the workshop.
