As we move from the darkness of the Winter Solstice toward the shared light of the Spring Equinox, UUCG offers its annual celebration of Luminescence--the process of creating light in a way that doesn't diminish the source. With Luminescence we celebrate the nurturing of our own personal light - our spark - along with the light that resides in all that is around us. We recognize with delight the fact that the light within us does not diminish as it is shared. The more we open our hearts, lay bare our pain and our joy, and allow others into our tender spaces, the more our light GROWS!
