About this Event
What to Expect
We start with a fun warm up and introduction to the sport. You will then be taught how to handle wield the long saber in multiple saber forms, with our instructor taking you through the fundamentals of Forms 1, 2 & 3!
At the end of the class you can put your new skills to the test and duel!
How to Duel
We will give you all the skills to duel in your first sessions. We duel using safe techniques designed so you can try duelling at an early stage without injury. Duelling is optional and cheering from the side of the arena is always encouraged!
What to Bring
- We recommend wearing comfy, easy to move in clothes and trainers
- Bring a water bottle. Duelling is thirsty work!
- All sabers and equipment will be provided
