"I will dunk you in my river and then reveal my Mystery."

The Museum of Sex Objects is delighted to present a talk by Dr Lucy Coleman Talbot. In this talk she will be exploring the Crossbones Graveyard in Southwark. From its mythic origins as a single women's churchyard to John Constable's encounter with the spirit of The Goose - a medieval sex worker who 'visited' John in the 1990s, informing the magical and practical work that has gone on to make this burial ground a sacred site of sex worker heritage and an important place for their memory, ritual, performance, and activism.

Dr Lucy Coleman Talbot is an authority on the Crossbones Graveyard. She has been volunteering at and advocating for the burial ground since 2016.

This talk is one of a series of events exploring sexual cultures programmed by The Museum of Sex Objects to coincide with their month-long exhibition at The Horse Hospital this September.

Due to space constraints, tickets are limited. Book now to avoid disappointment.

Doors open at 7.30pm. Talk starts promptly at 8pm, followed by a Q&A.
