It’s the rerun audiences are dying to see - Bold Offer Productions & Be You Productions proudly present the return of LUCKY STIFF for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2024!
Lucky Stiff is a zany musical comedy about a man, a corpse, some dogs, some diamonds, and a whole lot of money. Harry Witherspoon, a down-on-his-luck shoe salesman, inherits a fortune from his dead uncle (who unbeknownst to Harry has been mysteriously murdered), but there's a catch… to stop the money literally going to the dogs, he has to drag the old man's embalmed body to Monte Carlo for one last hurrah!
Through all the mayhem and misadventure, Harry discovers love, bravery, and that sometimes it takes a deceased relative to show you what life is all about.
Audiences can expect big laughs from this joyous farce, a tale that's hysterical, gripping and endearing in equal measure, and music that is simply to die for.
Our formidable cast from 2023 have returned and are dead serious about bringing this delightful comedy back to life. All bets are off, all accents are acquired, and one thing is for certain: something funny’s going on!
