East Tennessee Kidney Foundation (ETKF) is bringing you a one of a kind race to the South side of Knoxville! This race will feature the best of South Knoxvilles Urban face. You wont want to miss this Spring morning along the river with an epic start ON the pedestrian accessible only Gay Street Bridge!! Be sure to take the family to visit the Knox Shamrock Fest taking place at Worlds Fair park after the race to keep the celebration going with all things Irish and Green! The festival begins at 10am!Thats right, the course kicks off on Gay Street Bridge and runs out onto Council Pl. onto Sevier Avenue before taking a pleasant detour down to Suttrees Landing Waterfront. Runners will run the full length of Suttrees before exiting the park onto Phillips Ave. before enjoying more waterfront views on Island Home Road before turning back to rerun Island home once more splitting up onto McCormick St., then Anita Dr., before charging straight down Sevier Ave. again, around the bend onto Council to finish in front of the Regal Headquarters building.
6K Course boasts less than 200ft total elevation.
