LUCINE is the first-and-only known artist in her fiber craft, working with torn pantyhose and custom-built canvases on a 2D plane. Through this unconventional medium, she constructs tactile drawings that blur the line between fragility and resistance. Her practice interrogates the garment medium as both subject and technique, inviting a feminist view of materials historically tied to conformity and commodification, rebellion and liberation. Asserting a new language for bodily memory in the controversial garment of pantyhose. RECENTLY SEEN ON FOX29 PHILLY’s “THE 215”
