Lucille Ball was one of the most fascinating, successful, and gifted artists of the 20th century. Through a combination of talent, hard work, passion, and perseverance, she rose from humble beginnings in a small town in upstate New York to aspiring model, Hollywood movie showgirl, B-movie star, studio mogul, and television’s Queen of Comedy.

Join Cindy Sipala for a presentation on the star’s life, career, and the iconic character of “Lucy.” Sipala is the author of several books on the stars of the classic Hollywood era, including Lucy at the Movies; Lana: The Memories, the Myths, the Movies; Sophia Loren: Movie Star Italian Style, and more.
