Mark your calendars! Join us August 23 and 24 for 𝘓𝘶𝘤𝘪𝘥 𝘉𝘰𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴, a choral performance presented by Roots in the Sky, Montana’s premier chamber choir, and Tinworks Art!
Selected through Roots in the Sky’s inaugural Choral Composition Program, Composer Fellows Tommy Dougherty, Benjamin Martin, Michal Nissimoff, and Ethan Soledad explore themes of the legacy of earthen materials and our physical ties to the landscapes we inhabit. Each have been commissioned to write a new a cappella choral work to be performed and premiered at Tinworks Art. Through powerful voices and resonant harmonies, these concerts traverse the emotional and elemental landscapes that define the human condition.
Performances will take place at Tinworks in the contemplative art and performance space defined by Chris Fraser’s long-term light installation 𝘈𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘮𝘴 (2019). Seating is limited.
