About Dennis London:
Dennis London is a committed constitutional conservative, Marine Corps veteran, a cybersecurity business owner, and staunch advocate for grassroots movements across Texas. A former candidate for Texas State House, Dennis ran on a platform dedicated to defending parental rights, protecting the innocence of children, securing the Texas border, and safeguarding constitutional freedoms. His work with the True Texas Project and other grassroots efforts showcases his passion for limiting government overreach and defending individual liberty.
While Dennis has not held any official roles in the Texas Legislature, he has spent significant time in Austin, meeting with House Representatives and Senators to advocate for the values and priorities of "We the People." His dedication to freedom and liberty was recently recognized with the Grassroots America We The People "Champion of Freedom" award for his ongoing work with the grassroots. Dennis served on the Republican Party Platform Committee, where he directly contributed to shaping the conservative movement, serving on the State Affairs and National Defense & Foreign Affairs committees, and authoring multiple planks on the party platform.
Beyond his political work, Dennis is deeply engaged in his community, serving through veteran organizations, church groups, and championing causes such as school choice and property tax reform. His guiding principle - "not about me, but about we" - reflects his belief that the future of Texas rests in the hands of "We the People."
Dennis has been married to the love of his life, Shari, for 33 years. Although they do not have children, they share their lives with two rescue dogs, nieces, nephews, great nephews, and three godchildren. They reside in the small city of McLendon Chisholm in Rockwall County, where Dennis is a currently a member of the charter commission working to craft the city's new charter.
About Fran Rhodes:
Currently serving as President of True Texas Project, Fran Rhodes first became interested in politics when Obama was elected. She attended a tax day rally in 2009, and joined several grassroots groups, subscribing to their online newsletters. Fran started attending NE Tarrant Tea Party meetings in the summer of 2009. In 2010, she took on leadership of the Volunteer Liaison program, and in 2013, established the Citizen Advocate program. In 2014 Fran joined the Board of NE Tarrant Tea Party, and in 2016 became Vice President. When NETTP re-branded and relaunched into True Texas Project, in 2019, Fran was promoted to President and now is helping to lead the organization and grow the grassroots army in Texas. Fran’s passion for this service comes from a desire to actually make a difference, influence what goes on in our government, and really make our voices heard. According to Fran, “Even when we don’t get the outcomes we want, people see that we show up, we put in the time, we do the work, and we are not going away!”
Fran holds a BA in Business Management from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, and is retired from a career in sales and marketing in the office furniture industry. Originally from Illinois, Fran got to Texas as soon as she could. She considers herself a Texan, after 3 decades of living in the Lone Star State, and is passionate about fighting for liberty in Texas. When Fran is not fighting for legislation, speaking to others about activism, or organizing the latest TTP special event, she is an active member of her church choir, and enjoys sewing, quilting and gardening.
