Meet the musicians!
LUANA SILVA, originating from Rio de Janeiro, refined her vocal talents at the Villa-Lobos Music Institution. As a composer and versatile vocalist, she has graced stages at renowned festivals across Brazil and Canada. Beyond performing, Luana has promoted numerous influential concerts, championing the promotion of Brazilian cultural richness.
DHIEGO COSTA, a Brazilian-born pianist with over two decades of mastery, holds a Master's Degree in jazz piano from the University of Manitoba on a full scholarship. He has performed globally with groups such as the Campbellsville University Jazz Orchestra in the US and the Brazilian Jazz Combo.
ROB SIWIK, a central figure in Winnipeg's jazz scene for over 25 years, has performed with notable local talents such as Ron Paley and currently plays with The Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra. His career highlights include appearances at major jazz festivals and touring with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet in "A Cinderella Story". Rob has also shared stages with jazz legends Frank Foster, Bob Brookmeyer, Bill Watrous, and Clark Terry.
EMMANUEL BACH, a guitarist, arranger, and producer from southern Brazil, merges Brazilian grooves with contemporary jazz. He has released two albums as a leader and performed with luminaries such as Ivan Lins, Airto Moreira, Flora Purim, Oscar Stagnaro, and Filó Machado. Known for his improvisation prowess and versatility in jazz, rock, blues, and fusion.
