Welcome to CKB 1200 ....A Himalayan Sojourn is a 1200 km LRM ride Starting from the Capital City of India...New Delhi and going all the way up into the Mighty Himalayas to The abode of His Excellency Dalai Lama to the city of McLeodganj via Ambala Chintpoorni Kangra Dharamshala Palampur and back the same way. The total elevation climb is over 14,000 Mts to be finished under 90 Hours of Given time.

What makes ride special is the change of terrain from carromboard flat tarmacs of Urban North India gradually turning to verdant green forests of Himachal tossed with steady climbs and Rolls to the picturesque beauty of Kangra and poignant tea gardens of Palampur and mighty Dhauladhar snow peaked Himalayan ranges standing like a wall on one side for an entire 100 Kms.

A 1200 Km brevet with a total elevation of over 10,000mtrs is a true test of you Endurance and climbing abilities.

2018 they were 23 riders who confluenced from all over India and of which only 3 saw the finish line.....(One of them was on his Archaic Rod Brake 25 kilo single speed steel bike) but all 3 were marginally late and hence could not be Homologated.
2019 this Brevet got Conquered with in Time limits by only 2 Riders …. The Shaw Brothers.
Till now CKB has under 50 Homologations!!!!!

The Fee is 10,000/- INR includes Rider Real Time Tracking, Hydration Nutrition BF on day 1 ,Food at Time stations,Luggage Carry ,energy drinks ,boiled eggs and other eat Hot beverages at CPs till 31st Oct 2025.
Homologation cost will be separate and will taken post successful finish of the ride.
