Reilly Downes is an Americana artist from the Texas Hill Country now residing in Chicago, IL. Throughout her career she had acted mainly as a session musician in Nashville, singing back up for some of Americana’s favorite singer/songwriters. Upon making the move to Chicago, Downes decided to go her own way. She is now backed by a superb band and has been compared to the likes of Gillian Welch and Alison Krauss with the flare of Nikki Lane.
