Thinking about starting your own small business? Wondering about getting a spot at the La Plata Farmers Market? Looking for updates on market fees, rules, and programs? Come to the Market Information Meeting on Saturday, March 7, 9AM, at La Plata Town Hall.
The 2026 Market Information Meeting is for new and returning vendors to catch up on the latest at our market. Vendors will have the chance to meet market staff, pick up the 2026 Farmers Market Vendor Permit packet, ask questions, and make contacts in the community...like the Small Business Development Center, Charles County Economic Development, and the Charles County Health Department, to drop a few names.
Returning seasonal vendors may submit applications at any time during this meeting. Applications from new vendors and those seeking only daily permits will be received starting March 23, 2026.
