Plants + Pints is Back!
Learn about plants while enjoying a pint of locally brewed beer! Plants+Pints is an informal class collab with Crooked Pecker Brewing Company. Our plant experts talk different plant topics and Crooked Pecker will be on site to pour and answer any beer questions you may have. This all takes place in our spacious greenhouse!
Classes will take place on Saturday afternoons (1/25 and 2/22) from 2 to 3 pm. Class descriptions belown! Register for one or both!
$20/class includes the program, a plant, and a beer.
$30/class includes the above PLUS a custom P+P glass!
Classes will take place in our spacious greenhouse. Please know there is plenty of time to answer questions and feel free to browse our indoor greenhouse and gift shop. We are dog and kid-friendly!
Class Descriptions:
January 25: "Houseplants 101"
Learn the proper steps to take in fall before bringing your houseplant inside for winter and what to do to get them ready for spring. Trimming, fertilizing and repotting are among the topics that will be discussed.
February 22: "Starting Seeds for Spring"
It's that time of year again! Learn which seeds are easy to grow and others that may be much more of a challenge. Discussion will include types that do better when transplanted or directly sown into the ground. We will also cover the appropriate timing on when to start certain seed types.
