Low Sensory Family Swim Session

This event is funded by Suffolk County Council, Ipswich Health and Wellbeing Activity Fund. 20 swim sessions will run from April to Dec 2024 in Ipswich. Bookings will be released on a monthly basis to enable as many people as possible to benefit from the funding.

This is an exclusive session for families with a child who have SEND. You must have a child under 25 with SEND who will be attending this session. Due to funding restrictions you must live in IP1, IP2, IP3 or IP4 and we will require you to register with Suffolk Family Carers to enable us to provide evidence to the funder. A post session evaluation form will be sent to you via email which will enable the funder to monitor the impact of the session.

Before booking please read the following:

1. You must book a place for every person who wants to swim. No ticket no entry. Max in each session 30.

2. This is a family swim session, no children or young people will be permitted to be in the pool without an adult family member or guardian who is over the age of 18. Where children are under the age of 8 the ratio is 1 adult to 2 children.

3. The Leisure pool and teaching pool will be available for this session, there is no access to the competition pool.

4. On Sundays you will not have exclusive use of the changing facilities due to another group using the competition pool.

5. There will be no access to the pool on the day without prior booking.

6. You must live in IP1, IP2, IP3 or IP4. Your child with SEND must attend the session.

If you no longer need your place please cancel through Eventbrite to free up a space for someone on the waiting list.

Failure to attend without giving a valid reason could result in your ability to book further events beings suspended.

We reserve the right to cancel your booking if you do not meet the criteria for this funded activity.
