Designed to help you utilize dimension to create effortless low maintenance hair.
About this Event
Throughout the last couple years, we've seen the return of even more natural, dimensional, and more importantly LOW MAINTENANCE looks. Bold blondes are still in demand, but there certainly has been a shift in a client's willingness to enjoy more of their natural tones And WARMTH!
Call me crazy, but I'm a believer that a client shouldn't HAVE to be in the salon every 6-8 weeks to have good hair.
It's important as stylists we understand that everyone's lifestyles and budgets vary, and we need to know to effectively create looks that will keep them feeling good about themselves- whether 6 weeks later or 16!
Now, creating low maintenance hair doesn't mean easy, basic, or minimal work. In fact it can require having a deeper understanding of color theory, hair chemistry, your brand choices, and more.
I'M HERE TO HELP!
Over the last few years I've found that while we've been learning all we can about bold blonding, we've lacked in better understanding lowlighting and depth. I've designed this class around depth and dimension- when to incorportate more in, when to leave what's already there, and when to take it away.
Here's the details:
Class will begin promptly at 10am and run until about 3pm.
In this class, I will be demonstrating the process of creating luxury, low maintenance hair on a live model.
-We will begin with discussing how to effectively consult with a client in regards to an ideal maintenance schedule, budget, + the must-haves and the must-nots.
-You will see me combine blonding techniques + incorporating depth in the hair utilizing some of my go-to lowlighting techniques and placement. We will also cover base melting + toning as this is a core part of the process.
-Because what you use and how you use it matters, we will cover proper color theory + formulation to create shades that will not only properly deposit and hold in the hair long-term- but compliment your client's skin, eyes, and overall natural undertones. You will be able to utilize what you learn across any brand choice.
