About this Event
What happens when the mind gives authority to other ways of knowing and makes room for a sustained engagement with the heart? Maybe you have experienced the emergent quality of moments when you come closer to this centre and there is the sense that something moves from potential into possibility. An enlivening takes place when what comes to the heart and is congruent with the inner life process is augmented by our attentiveness. We experience a part of ourselves that is not afraid and trusts in the ability of our consciousness to sustain our life. What is in the heart cannot be given externally and resources our growth and development when this is released into the mind. Yet the reality of the heart tends to be secluded in our society - we could be living a whole other life we may not even be aware of.
This workshop is an invitation to find a way into your heart space and deepen the sense of your life from its vantage point. What is taking place in your heart and what happens when this fills your expression? Where do you need assistance? We may know a direction that is in accord with ourselves and our contribution, but we still need others to actualise our dreams. You will reflect on what you become aware of as we presence the unfolding moment and how to convey and language this. In small groups, there will be opportunities to practice sharing and the receiving of others who are exploring their hearts. The hope is that you will walk away from this workshop with a resonance you will trust and which will resource you. Maybe it is the knowledge of the heart which the future needs.
What to expect and bring: We will be sitting on the floor, on yoga mats and cushions, to come closer to the earth and stay in alignment with ourselves and others who do not want to sit out this critical period of our history. What is the destination of our expression when we remain present with ourselves? Can we reduce our suffering by our own self-understanding? We will reflect on what is waiting to be born in our lives and practice deepening into levels of communication that draw from inner and relational resources. Please bring something to write and anything you need for extra support to sit comfortably.
