Ahlan Mothers Circle: Loving Myself Again
Ahlan Mothers’ Circle is a monthly space where Muslim single mothers can speak freely, connect with others, and slowly rebuild a sense of safety and belonging. It is peer-led, culturally rooted, and grounded in care.
We know many of us don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day. Still, the world around us frames this day as a celebration of love.
So we’re choosing to reclaim it in our own way.
A moment to return to ourselves.
To honour the love we often give to everyone else.
Our first session, Loving Myself Again, will be guided by a registered therapists (Salima Versi). Together, we’ll explore self-worth, healing, and what caring for ourselves can look like after hardship. We’ll also set our group agreements and build the foundation for the months ahead.
