In 2004 the first legal same-sex marriages in the US happened here in Massachusetts. People flocked to Provincetown from all over the country and the world to tie the know. But it wasn't easy and it wasn't without a frothing backlash. Our stories will paint a picture for you of the summer of 2004 here in Provincetown. The joys and celebrations as well as the tensions and fears.
