A meditation and short discussion on self-love and self-care will be led by of . Tyneeta leads from a place of humanity, bringing a unique blend of connection and conviction to her approach. As a consultant and coach, she draws on her research into the psychological needs that foster team success, and her experience creating inclusive and connected environments. She also shares insights from her own journey as a working mother, balancing strong family values with professional growth and a commitment to excellence. Tyneeta’s session will offer you valuable tools to nurture both your personal well-being and your relationships with others.
Coloring is a simple yet powerful way to reduce stress and practice self-care. By relaxing the brain’s fear center (the amygdala), coloring induces a meditative state, promoting mindfulness and quieting a restless mind. It offers a creative escape, reducing anxiety and helping to calm the nervous system. This soothing activity not only fosters relaxation but also improves focus and overall well-being—making it the perfect addition to your self-care routine, especially in stressful times.
We will color using beautiful images of strong, powerful women created by our artist in residence, Nia Simone of Atypical Creations Art. Choose one of her two coloring books to take home with you in your goodie bag:
- Realm of Radiance, a unique coloring book celebrating the beauty and diversity of Black fairies. Featuring women of all shapes, sizes, and perspectives, this book highlights their strength, grace, and individuality.
- Walk Her Path is a compilation of 25 different history making women for you to color. Experience women of all different backgrounds who were determined to make a positive impact. From Bessie Coleman to Malala Yousafzai, all these women's stories are going to amaze you! Nia Simone intended to create an educational and intentional space to relax and color while also learning. She created this coloring book in hopes that these amazing women will get the recognition they deserve and that you get the relaxation that YOU deserve.
This intimate event is the perfect opportunity to step away from life’s busy pace, reflect on your personal journey, and embrace a moment of creative self-care. Whether you come solo or bring a friend, we welcome you to join us in celebrating yourself this Galentine’s Day.
