About this Event
This master class introduces participants to the traditional Ukrainian Petrivka painting style through decorating a wooden spoon with romantic Valentine’s motifs. Petrivka painting is known for its expressive floral patterns, symbolic elements, and vibrant colors, making it perfect for creating meaningful, hand-painted gifts.
During the session, participants will learn the basics of Petrivka ornamentation, including characteristic brush strokes, color combinations, and composition techniques. Step by step, they will paint floral designs inspired by love, harmony, and warmth, adapting traditional patterns to a Valentine’s theme.
The master class is suitable for beginners and does not require prior artistic experience. All materials are provided. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have a unique hand-painted wooden spoons, combining cultural heritage with a personal, heartfelt design—ideal as a Valentine’s keepsake or gift.
