What is the cost of beauty? In the 80s, the floriculture industry was booming in Colombia and was internationally acclaimed. However, behind the idyllic image of abundance, the reality was very different. In 1984, legendary director Marta Rodríguez collected the testimonies of workers and followed them in their daily life. A pioneering film about emancipation, dignity, and the fight for the environment, this restored copy includes an interview with Marta Rodríguez at the end of the film, who is still alive at 92.
