About this Event
We’re excited to announce that Love, Tito's (@titosvodka / Tito’s Handmade Vodka) is sponsoring a special volunteer work day at our East Palo Alto Community Garden, and we need YOUR help to make it a success! Join us on Saturday, October 25th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for our Love, Tito’s Block to Block Garden Workday to help us grow our NEW community garden space from the ground up!
With your support, we hope to do the following activities…
🍂Trench and lay irrigation pipe to garden beds
🍂Install raised garden beds and shade structure
🍂Organize our garden shed
🍂Create pollinator water fountains
🍂Support our Compost Hub Program
🍂W**d the yard and move mulch
🍂Complete greenhouse installations
Why Volunteer?
- Help us grow a NEW community garden from the ground up that will facilitate garden workshops that build skills and knowledge in urban farming, maintain a compost hub that diverts food waste from landfills and provides high quality compost to residents, and offer garden beds for community members to grow their own food!
- Meet like-minded people and learn new gardening skills
- Enjoy delicious food, drinks, and snacks with your garden workday shift
Volunteers will ALSO receive a special swag bag as a thank-you for their hard work!
