We invite adults and children to the new dance theatre production of “LOVE Tales for the Young, and the Young at Heart” on June 22 and 23, 2024, in Toronto.This anthology performance is an ode to love in all its complexities and contradictions. Presented through breathtaking choreography, original music and captivating acting it is a celebration of love's multifaceted nature.

All-forgiving, passionate, first, destructive, elusive, fearless, secret, last, faithful, life-affirming - all shapes and facets of LOVE are explored.
Our show consists of 14 novellas about love. These stories are diverse, covering different persons, circumstances, real life experiences and fairytale endings. It is a show for the whole family and explores love that endures and love that causes heartbreak.

The original music and signature choreography of Ismailova Theatre of Dance has moved audiences across Canada since 2010. The company has produced numerous sold out shows, earned rave reviews and received the Toronto Arts Foundation Award twice in 2015 and 2017. In 2022 the company produced the world’s first physical theatre rendition of the One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, in 2019 - North America’s first dance theatre production of Mikhail Bulgakov’s “Master and Margarita”. In 2020 they produced “Seeking Everyday Magicians”, a groundbreaking Canada’s first fully live interactive digital production. In 2021 the company presented an immersive production of “Journey With The Wind” where audience was invited into the woods to witness dance theatre show unfold around them under the trees, across the meadows, and in the river creeks

Tickets are exchangeable pending availability
Latecomers may not be admitted to the event
Seating is general. All seats have a good view of the stage. Arrive early to get the best seats
YOUTH ticket holders will be asked to present an ID to be admitted to the event
YOUTH ticket holders need to be 25 years of age or younger
SENIOR ticket holders need to be 65 years of age or older and may be required to present an ID at the door.
