About this Event
Hosted by Surge Network Tucson
In a world marked by deep political divisions and societal fractures, how can Christians faithfully live out their calling?
This workshop-style event will explore the critical role Christians must play in this time of political upheaval. Grounded in the Story of Scripture and centered on the good news of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, we’ll discuss what it means to humanize and love our neighbors, work across differences, and come together around the Kingdom table, amidst the divides we see in America today.
Together, we’ll explore practical ways to engage with others, rooted in missional theology, to be agents of God’s restorative work in our communities. We will explore frameworks to gain a deeper understanding of our current political and cultural landscape including both visible and invisible forces, and how we can be full participants in God’s mission through love. Our time will include engaging lectures, reflective journaling breaks to apply these concepts to your own life, and an interactive Q&A session.
Attendees will also receive a curated list of resources to deepen their understanding and continue the conversation around tables in the church, workplace, and at home.
Whether you're a seasoned leader or just starting out, this gathering will provide you with practical strategies to lead effectively during election season. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and gain valuable insights. See you there!
