About this Event
Enjoy a holiday concert brought to you by the Allen Symphony Chorus with a combo band of piano, keys, guitar and bass. Also on the program is the Boon Elementary 6th Grade Choir! The featured piece is a crowd-pleaser called “Gospel Mass” by Robert Ray. In addition to choir and band, several soloists will delight!
The piece that has given this concert its title is called “Love, Peace and Joy”. This is a new arrangement of what was originally a solo with piano and cello accompaniment and is going to make a WORLD PREMIERE during the evening. The original was written by Russell Cleveland and the mixed chorus arrangement was made by Eddie Healy.
Some of the additional selections you will enjoy are “Deck the Halls”, “We Need a Little Christmas” and the “Hallelujah Chorus” from Hansel’s Messiah. The closing selection is a partner piece with the Boon 6th Grade Choir and the Allen Symphony Chorus called “All On a Silent Night”.
The tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students and $10 for children ages 8 and under.
