About this Event
Join us for the 2nd edition of BLCC's annual mini-bonspiel! 10 teams will compete for swanky prizes and BLCC bragging rights playing three 4-end games over three and a half hours. Teams will earn points based on win, lose or tie, ends won and total points scored which will determine 2nd and 3rd round matchups. It's going to be fast and furious - may the best curlers win!
Sign up as a team, or as a partial team / individual and we'll match people together for full teams. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd team prizes, raffle, food & drink and more!
This event is only open to current and returning Brooklyn Lakeside Curling Club members, and anyone who has at least one year of prior curling experience at another club.
This event is not open to those who have never curled before. Please sign up for one of our Try Curling events which are suitable for first time curlers.
Team Selection: If you already have a full team, please make a note of your team members’ names in the "team notes" box when checking out. If you do not have a team, or have less than a full team, indicate so in the ‘team notes’ box when checking out. Be sure to include whether you have 1, 2, or 3 additional players, and include the names of your team members. Note that one ticket is good for one (1) single player, so if you have teammates you must buy a separate ticket for each player on your team. You can buy up to four tickets on one order. Players signing up without a team will be assigned to a team after ticket sales end.
All player slots are first come first served, so if you want to make sure your whole team is signed up, you can purchase up to four tickets at the same time but you must fill out each individual player's name and contact info separately at check-out. Our events often sell out in a matter of days.

TIME: Please plan to show up at 6:15pm to account for any traffic, parking or subway delays and so we have time to set up, organize everyone, complete any waiver paperwork and get out on the ice on time at 6:45!
LOCATION: LeFrak Center at Lakeside, Prospect Park, 171 East Dr, Brooklyn NY 11225. Take the Q train to Parkside Av. or otherwise find your way to the Parkside and Ocean Avenue entrance to Prospect Park, enter the park and walk up the hill. For anyone driving, there is ample parking at a lot in the park, direct your GPS to this location, then walk through the park to the rink.
Weather Cancellations: Because the Lakeside rink is only partially covered, we occasionally must cancel events due to extreme weather conditions. If there is a weather cancellation, BLCC will make its best effort to reschedule the event. In somes cases rescheduling may not be feasible in which case BLCC will issue a refund for single night events.
