A tour for the Valentines.Bundle up with us and take a wintertime walk through Elmwood Cemetery to hear tales of love (and love gone wrong) from days gone by! The residents of Elmwood Cemetery have their own love stories to tell through the legacies they left behind, from the madams who sacrificed their lives for the greater good, a pair of lovers infamously known only as Alice and Freda, a tempestuous murderess who married 7 times, killing 3 husbands, and many more. Love takes different forms, and this tour explores many of those expressions.
Join us on Saturday, February 15th at noon for this walking tour hosted by Elmwood's Director of Family Services, Bob Barnett. The cost is $20.
This tour will be canceled in the event of inclement weather or unreasonable temperatures. Information will come via email.
