Join us on Valentine's Day for an enchanting evening of love, appreciation, and inspiration as we celebrate our beloved Mother Earth. Love Letters to Mother Earth:
At 6:00 pm, children will read their heartfelt love letters to the Earth, followed by an invitation for all attendees to write their own love letters to Mother Earth.
Film Screening:
Regenerating Life
The evening features a special screening of "Regenerating Life," a thought-provoking documentary that takes an ecological approach to addressing the social and environmental crises we face.
By exploring the intricate relationships between life, climate, and the planet, the film offers new, attainable solutions to the climate crisis. "Regenerating Life" reveals how the destruction of the biosphere, through industrial agriculture, deforestation, and fossil fuel extraction, has led to the climate crisis.
However, by regenerating ecosystems, reforestation, and promoting sustainable agriculture, we can reduce the greenhouse effect, cool the planet, and create healthy communities.
The documentary is presented in three parts:
1. "Water Cools the Planet" (6:20 pm)
2. "Life Sustains the Climate" (7:30 pm)
3. "Small Farms Feed the World" (8:40 pm)
Interactive Breaks:
Enjoy a song circle break at 7:10 pm and share your own love letters to Mother Earth at 8:20 pm.
Local Regeneration Panel:
At 9:30 pm, engage with our Local Regeneration Panel, featuring experts and innovators working towards a more sustainable future.
Musical Finale:
The evening concludes with enchanting music by the Evolving Stardust Trio at 10:00 pm.
