About this Event
Love Is Like… is an in-person Valentine’s Day creative writing workshop for youth in Portland, inviting young people to explore what love feels like through imagination, sensory language, and self-expression.
Rather than focusing on romance, this workshop centers love as friendship, kindness, belonging, care, and connection. Youth will engage in age-appropriate writing prompts and creative activities designed to encourage expression in a supportive, welcoming environment.
The workshop includes guided writing, time to work with what’s been written, optional sharing, and the opportunity to create a small keepsake to take home. No prior writing experience is needed—just curiosity and openness.
