As the tender whispers of February's eve descend upon us, The Franklin Castle fires up its warmest and most romantic chore to melt away the snows of winter for a night of merryment, soulful romance, sensual mystique.
We invite You to indulge in a Candlelit Supper, expertly crafted by Chef Maeve's Magic, as the castle's hallowed walls whisper tales of love and mystery.
As the night wears on, Michael, an Actor-Poet-Fortune-Teller shall recite immortal verses of Love, his words a serenade to the heart, accompanied by the ethereal whispers of ancient, haunting melodies.
A night tour of the castle immersed in the promesses of a newly crescent moon, an unforgettable stay in one of our wonderful suites and a decadent late checkout on the morrow... surrender to temptation !

The folk traditions of this season 💫 During these cold Mid-Winter days, whilst everything seems dark and frozen, the traditional fire festival that gave its origins to the night of Lovers, St. Velentine, honors the halfway between Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox as the days continue to grow lighter each day.
Maeve's Magic is a local, sustainable apothecary and small catering business. Return to the sources of tradition, folk-lore and savoir-faire through recipes that have been lovingly preserved and transmitted since centuries past. Very limited attendance, only 8 guests maximum !
