In a world that asks so much of organizers, this Valentine’s Day we’re creating space to pause, breathe, and reconnect to the love that fuels our movements.
The Valentine’s Day Organizing Lounge is a cozy, community-centered gathering for organizers, advocates, and movement builders to come together in rest, reflection, and collective imagination. Through conversation, creative expression, and intentional care, we’ll explore love not just as a feeling but as a political practice, a source of power, and a pathway to liberation.
Participants can expect:
A grounding opening circle and facilitated panel conversation with organizers reflecting on love in the work
Open-flow lounge stations, including love letters to the community, guided organizing conversations, a rest & restore corner, and a vision board art space
Time for collective sharing, connection, and recommitment to our movements
Opportunities to plug into ongoing organizing work and carry love beyond the lounge
✨ Lunch and on-site child care will be provided, so participants can fully rest, engage, and be present.
This gathering centers joy, consent, and care, honoring rest as resistance and love as an essential organizing strategy. Come as you are tired, hopeful, curious, or full and leave feeling held, inspired, and reconnected to community.
