Join us and six incredible LGBTQ+ Elders of Color on Sunday November 16, from 2-4pm, for an afternoon of storytelling and reflections on Love, Health, and Liberation. Each storyteller will reflect on their experience of the challenges and triumphs of the LGBTQ+ community, from resistance at Stonewall, through the horror of the early HIV/AIDS pandemic, to the joy of winning marriage equality and beyond.
There’s been a lot of life in between – all of which can help fortify the resilience we need to persevere and thrive in today’s unprecedented cultural and political climate.
We'll have plenty of laughter and light refreshments as we get an early start to the holiday season.
Event Location: Roxbury Community College Media Arts Building
Free parking is available at Parking Lot #1 where Columbus Ave meets Cedar St.
