Loving touch is crucial to health, and massage has the power to make people feel better in minutes. Join Dr. Jacqueline Tibbett's hands-on workshop to learn how to make a person relax and feel great - and you'll feel good doing it!
This workshop is appropriate for many types of partners: friends, family members, or romantic couples of any orientation. The techniques don’t require any prior experience or special equipment, so you can use them immediately! If you already massage each other, you will have an opportunity to improve your skills and deepen your connection.
Jacqueline will run through a brief introduction about massage use and safety, then you'll following along with the massage techniques.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Dr. Jacqueline Tibbett has been a licensed massage therapist since 2012. She has a PhD in the physiology of pain and motor dysfunction, and has a passion to empower people to wellness. She founded The Educated Body, LLC to use massage, movement, and information to help people live quality lives.

What should I bring to the event?
--Comfortable clothes that allow for movement, including a tank top or a shirt that has a loose fit around the neck.
--Large Towel
--We will have lotion, or you can bring your own (a dab will do ya).
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
--Minimum age is 14. Under 18 must attend with adult parent or guardian.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
--Street and lot parking is available around Ocean Life Studio. A free trolley runs up and down Miami Beach.
What are the covid precautions?
--Couples will be spaced out.
--Masks are recommended.
--Studio sanitation procedures will be taken.
