Moorhead is hosting a trauma-informed Love & Logic group this fall. The group will meet on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, starting October 7, 2025, and will run for six weeks.Sessions will take place at our Moorhead office. A Zoom option is available for individuals living in rural Cass and Clay Counties, though in-person participation is encouraged and prioritized.
The group utilizes a trauma-informed curriculum to help parents, caregivers, and others who serve children and teens who have experienced trauma. Participants will gain powerful insights into how trauma affects the brain, why challenging behaviors are often rooted in survival responses, and the role healthy attachment plays in healing. They will also learn how to apply Love & Logic strategies that balance self-care with addressing root causes, as well as how to set healthy boundaries, avoid destructive power struggles, overcome defiance, and guide youth toward long-term success.
The cost of the group is $240. Participants can self-pay, use three Village EAP sessions, or inquire about funding assistance if they qualify.
