You might feel like a hideous ogre right now. You might just want to be left alone in your mud hut. But we have a better idea. The Love & Hangover series presents the only movie that matters when you need a comfort watch with layers: Shrek.
About the Movie: Before memes took over the internet, there was Shrek. It’s the anti-fairytale that flipped the script on Disney perfection. Shrek is a grumpy, solitary ogre who just wants his swamp back from the squatting fairytale creatures dumped there by the vertically-challenged Lord Farquaad.
To get his peace and quiet back, he has to rescue Princess Fiona from a dragon-guarded tower, accompanied by a Donkey who simply will not shut up. It’s a story about finding love when you think you’re unlovable, judging people by their actions rather than their green skin, and the undeniable cultural impact of Smash Mouth.
