Come join us at Union Square for a few hours of love, laughter, and fun! This in-person event is all about celebrating love, friendship, kindness, and positivity. We plan to publicize love in whatever ways we want (PG rated so we don't get into trouble)... hugging, kissing, and sharing stories of love that will make your heart soar. Whether you're coming solo or with a special someone, Love-A-Palooza is the perfect place to spread love and good vibes. Don't miss out on this unforgettable experience!
What's going to happen is people demonstrating their love by hugging, kissing, connecting, sharing, singing, writing love notes to give to strangers, or whatever else they feel like doing during this designated LOVE time.
We practice and demand Enthusiastic Consent from all participants: Enthusiastic consent means actively and clearly expressing a positive "yes" to any loving activity, focusing on the presence of excitement and eagerness rather than just the absence of a "no"; it emphasizes a clear, verbal, and enthusiastic agreement to participate in loving acts with a partner, indicating a genuine desire to engage.
