The monthly worship sessions at The Lighthouse are here! Please join us on the 2nd Friday of each month 🗓 for a genuine, authentic, unplugged, communal pursuit of the King of Kings. We'll lean into the music as a way of getting our hearts lined up and aimed toward heaven. We'll embrace the silence as a way of acknowledging His constant loving presence. We'll listen for his voice and lay down our worn out egos as a gift of gratitude to the Father. -- He meets us as we seek Him!
We'll have 🫖tea and ☕️coffee for all, so feel free to bring a snack to share(🧀 🥨 🍪 🍓 🍰), your eager he🫀rt, and maybe a journal📓 / pen✍🏼 / bible📖 to capture what God might be saying.
🕕 6:30 PM - Come early to hang out together! Tea, Coffee, Snacks (bring a snack to share)
🕖 7:00 PM - Worship Session Begins (approx.)
No set end time (you're welcome to come and go whenever)

Here's our heart on this: We simply want to lean in and become more like Jesus!
"This is the way":
1. Jesus spent time in the presence of the Father in prayer, fasting & contemplation (Luke 5:16)
2. Jesus was one with the Father, practicing continual abiding, surrender and communion (John 17:20-23)
3. Jesus did the mahi, reflecting perfectly what He saw the Father doing! (John 5:19-20)
And all of this happened in the context of a wider community (sometimes in the wilderness and sometimes around the table). So together we seek grow into the living, breathing, walking temple: carrying the presence of God within us at all times.
So if you're a "✅ sign me up for all of this" then let's gather up and lift our eyes 👁 👁!

📍 LOCATION: The Lighthouse (former Anglican Church of the Ascension Mt Pleasant) -- drop "39a Major Hornbrook Road" into the Google Maps Machine and it should take you right to the carpark (if Google sends you down Mortens lane, ignore it and keep going up the hill!). Carpark spaces are limited, but street parking is readily available.
