The Lake Charles Regional Sports Authority announces the 2025 Louisiana’s Playground 4-Person Scramble that will be held Friday, October 10, 2025, at Mallard Golf Club. This event aims to raise funds to promote numerous youth golf tournaments held throughout Southwest Louisiana showcasing the region as a hub for youth golf development and giving athletes a platform for broader recognition. Among these events is the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Lake Charles Junior Championship, which will take place April 2-5, 2026, at Mallard Golf Club. The tournament will kick off with an 8 a.m. shotgun start and promises a fantastic experience for golfers of all skill levels. Participants will enjoy a post-round meal and have the chance to compete for awards given to the top finishers.
