Born in France and currently based in London, Louis-Victor Bak is a solo and chamber music pianist. After starting the piano at the age of fourteen, following seven years of flute studies, Louis-Victor was taught by Chrystel Saussac at the Conservatoire de Lyon (CRR), and Laurent Boullet in Berlin. He moves to London in 2019 to study at the Royal College of Music with Edna Stern. In 2023, he graduated with a Bachelor of Music and is now pursuing his studies for a Master of Performance still under the guidance of Edna Stern and Vanessa Latarche, as an Ilona Eibenschutz Award Holder.

Louis-Victor has recently performed as a soloist at La Seine Musicale, Steinway Hall, Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, and in the UK, in France, in Spain, in Poland, in Sardinia and in Switzerland. In 2023, Louis-Victor also appeared alongside Mathieu Herzog and the Appassionato Orchestra.

Over the years, Louis-Victor has had the opportunity to attend masterclasses and to study with Stanislav Ioudenitch, François Dumont, Piotr Paleczny, Bruno Rigutto and Dina Yoffe. In 2022, he joined the Debussy promotion of the Académie Musicale Philippe Jaroussky where he benefits from the advice of Cédric Tiberghien.

Louis-Victor is prizewinner of numerous international competitions : “North International Competition”, “Windsor International Piano Competition”, “Franz Liszt Center International

Piano Competition” among others.

He is an artist of Talent Unlimited UK and The Keyboard Charitable Trust, also a 2022 recipient of the Royal Philharmonic Society Julius Isserlis Scholarship.
