Louis Michot is a Louisiana musician best known as the fiddler and frontman for the Grammy-winning Cajun band Lost Bayou Ramblers. Hailing from a family deeply rooted in Cajun music, Michot blends traditional French Louisiana sounds with modern rock, folk, and experimental influences. In addition to his work with the Ramblers, he records and performs solo and with projects like Michot’s Melody Makers, continuing to champion Cajun language and culture through vibrant, forward-thinking music.
