About this Event
The Loudoun Community Breakfast
Life can be stressful – you can say that again! We are all dealing with CHANGE, both invited and uninvited. This event gives you an opportunity to meet with old friends and meet new friends. We all have stories to tell and we long for Community. Please join us!
This breakfast is free, informative, and provides a fun yet meaningful setting to get to know others in your Loudoun County community. Networking is a mild part of the morning and not the primary focus. The focus is to connect with the many stories you’ll discover about the men and women who live, work, and play in our Community.
The event begins with coffee and a little networking, then is followed by breakfast. We will provide a few questions that will charge up the table discussion.
Then you will hear from our storyteller: Alesia Lukashova.
Alesia Lukashova will share her story at this breakfast. A little about Alesia...
Alesia grew up in the Republic of Belarus with her Mom, Stepfather, and sister. She now lives locally.
Growing up in Belarus was challenging. At age 19 she came to the United States to attend college at Salisbury University where she received an undergraduate degree in Finance.
Her time at Salisbury was impactful and life changing. Alesia began her career as a bank teller at The Bank of Delmarva where she excelled and advanced. She then attended George Washington University and received an MBA. She is currently with Capital One and very successful.
Alesia’s upbringing was difficult and complicated. Her move to the US for school was timely and opened a whole new world to her. She took to her studies with a passion and excelled to top honors. It was while attending a study group at Salisbury University that she was challenged and intrigued by a simple statement...
Come and hear the story of Alesia, a Russian speaking girl from Belarus, who spoke little English and only had $250 in her pocket when she arrived but found herself in Maryland attending Salisbury University.
What happened that caused Alesia to rethink her life, plans and future?
You will want to hear Alesia's story.
Please come join us and invite a friend. This story will amaze you!
