In response to the banning of gender affirming care for trans youth in QLD by LNP member Tim Nicholls, four of Meanjin/Brisbane's heaviest and transgender-iest metal bands have come together to raise funds for Project 491. Come along to the Cave Inn on March 28th to see Aidan Night and the Revenants, APO//O, xwheredjentwolfx and Hell's Horizon blow minds and play angry music for a good cause.Ticket funds will be donated to Project 491, a project run by AusPATH (Australia's board of healthcare professionals specialised in trans healthcare), to help the 491 children stuck in limbo by Tim Nicholls and the LNP. "AusPATH will use funds raised, in collaboration with care providers in Queensland and across Australia, to establish multi-disciplinary pathways to ensure affected young people receive timely, evidence-based care."
